Bio: Dr. Boland is a Professor of Education and Director of the Peace Resource Center at Wilmington College. After working as an elementary school teacher for a few years, Dr. Boland went back to get his Doctorate of Education at the University of Cincinnati, before taking a job in the education department at Wilmington College.He has been leading Project TRUST since its inception in 1992, when it created as a collaboration between Wilmington College and Roger O. Borror Junior High School. He currently works as Executive Director of the program, leading retreats and working with the advisory board on continual improvement and expansion of the program.

Bio: Ruth has been involved with Project TRUST since 2003, when she was introduced to the program through her work as the Assistant Director of the Wilmington College Peace Resource Center. Utilizing her gift for project coordination, Ruth worked behind the scenes to make retreats and special events happen. She has continued volunteering with Project TRUST since 2005, coordinating fundraising and donor recognition efforts, managing the finances, and generally keeping the other Project TRUST members in line.

Bio: Tyler has been working with Project TRUST since 2003, when he started out as a high school counselor for the Wilmington Middle School program. After he graduated from Wilmington High School, he went off to The Ohio State University, but continued to be involved in the program by training high school counselors and attending retreats as a counselor. When he graduated from Ohio State, he moved back to Wilmington, in part to help Project TRUST grow and thrive. Tyler is currently attending the University of Arizona to get a Master’s degree in School Counseling. While there, he also researches student and staff bullying.

Bio: Jeri Earley started teaching when she graduated from Bluffton College (where she also received her Master’s) over 28 years ago. Jeri first became aware of Project TRUST many years ago, when the Wilmington community participated in study groups due to a concern over a diversity issue.  She became involved in Project TRUST because she feels middle school students need to learn to develop skills to appreciate the uniqueness that all students bring to the school environment. After teaching in the Wilmington School District and serving as the coordinator there, she is now the principal at Bright Elementary School in the Bright Local School District.

Bio: Michael Adams earned his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wilmington College in 1996 and finished his Masters in Education of Administration from Xavier University in 2003. He has taught for thirteen years and is currently teaching at Clinton-Massie Middle School, where he has been since 2000. Michael has also coached football at both the Middle School and High School levels. Michael first got involved with Project TRUST as an education student at Wilmington College as a counselor.  When Michael started at Clinton-Massie he was given the opportunity by the administration to begin Project TRUST where they have now been running the program for the past ten years.
