Greetings from the first morning of the East Clinton Project TRUST retreat from Camp Kern! We have a lot on the agenda today. In all, we have 15 hours of team building, learning about bullying and put downs, eating, having fun, singing, and dancing. Hopefully the weather holds off (radar looks good right now) and we can do everything we want to do today! This is East Clinton’s first retreat, so we especially want it to go smoothly, and it is so far!

Students in a group for incorporations

Last night, the students arrived and were immediately greeted by Project TRUST staff ready to do incorporations, where students get into groups based on similar interests. We then switched to family group mode, where family groups were given an opportunity to get to know students in their family groups even more. Then, we had a campfire full of singing and dancing and s’mores! Hopefully today goes just as well!
